Requirement: Bilingual - English & French\nAbout the Role\nECOM Cameroon Commodities is seeking a committed and proactive Field Officer to support the implementation of the company's field programs and activities.\nThe Field Officer will work directly with farmers, communities, field partners, and other stakeholders to support program implementation, farmer engagement, data collection, monitoring, and reporting.\nThis is a field-based position requiring frequent travel and direct engagement with farmers and rural communities.\nWe are looking for a bilingual candidate who is fluent in both English and French and is comfortable communicating with farmers, communities, and other stakeholders in both languages.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement assigned field activities according to program plans.\n\nEngage with farmers and communities and maintain positive working relationships.\n\nConduct farm and field visits as required.\n\nSupport farmer registration, training, mobilisation, and engagement activities.\n\nCollect accurate field data and maintain appropriate records.\n\nMonitor field activities and report progress, challenges, and observations.\n\nSupport the Program Manager in implementing field initiatives.\n\nPrepare regular field activity reports.\n\nIdentify issues affecting program implementation and escalate them appropriately.\n\nPromote company programs and initiatives within assigned communities.\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies and field procedures.\n\nParticipate in meetings, trainings, and community engagement activities.\n\nSupport the collection and verification of farmer and field data.\n\nMaintain regular communication with the Program Manager regarding field activities.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.\n\n1-3 years of relevant field experience is preferred.\n\nExperience working with farmers or rural communities is an advantage.\n\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently in a field environment.\n\nGood data collection and basic reporting skills.\n\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\n\nWillingness to travel frequently and work in rural locations.\n\nAbility to build strong relationships with farmers and community stakeholders.\n\nMust be bilingual and fluent in both English and French, both verbally and in
