This role suits someone who enjoys getting up to speed quickly in a new environment, giving teams concrete guidance, and thinking long-term at the same time.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssess the current Azure data platform and prepare a roadmap, separating quick wins from the target architecture.\nCreate architecture documentation and diagrams that engineering teams can start implementing within the first weeks of the project.\nDesign the data layer for GenAI applications (RAG, agentic solutions), covering ingestion, data preparation, storage, and retrieval, using Cosmos DB.\nDesign flexible, metadata-driven ingestion supporting multiple sources, including documents and unstructured data.\nRecommend the right tooling (including Databricks, Synapse, and Azure Data Factory) based on the project's actual needs.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nAt least 5 years of experience on a similar position.\nProven hands-on experience combining Azure data architecture, Cosmos DB, Synapse, and production RAG/agentic solutions, clearly reflected in your project history (with dates).\nIn-depth Cosmos DB expertise: data modeling, partition key design, RU and cost optimization, scaling, and Change Feed.\nAt least one production (not POC) RAG or agentic project where you personally owned the data layer, including chunking, embeddings, and vector search.\nPractical Synapse experience (Pipelines, Spark, Serverless and Dedicated SQL pools), including making architectural decisions yourself.\nExperience with Databricks, SQL Managed Instance / T-SQL, ADLS / Lakehouse architecture, and Azure Functions.\nNice to have\nDimensional modeling (star schema).\nIncremental data processing.\nAbility to compare Synapse with Fabric, Databricks, and Azure SQL and recommend the right fit.\nExperience modernizing legacy data platforms.\nWhat do we offer?\nBenefits package (private health insurance, sports card, group insurance).\n\nFree English lessons with a dedicated teacher.\n\nAccess to an extensive training library covering both soft and technical skills.\n\nSports activities.\n\nTeam-building events, contests, and challenges.\n\nProgram poleceń sprzedażowych i referral friends\n\nWho we are - in a nutshell:\nWe are a leader in technology services for companies in regulated industries.
