Our Renewables team delivers geotechnical and foundation engineering for solar projects across Canada and the United States, and is expanding into battery storage and wind. The work is high volume and fast moving: many projects at once, tight schedules, field crews on the road, and clients who expect quick answers.\nWe are hiring a Project Coordinator to be the person who keeps all of that running. You will be the day-to-day contact for clients on active projects, the one who gets vendor quotes and books the drillers, testing, and travel, the keeper of the schedule, and the first response to inbound inquiries and quote requests. The engineers own the technical work; you own everything that has to happen around it so projects are delivered on time, clients are kept informed, and nothing falls through the cracks. It is a role for someone who likes being at the centre of a busy team and takes real satisfaction in a job that runs cleanly.\nWhat you'll do\nProject coordination\nAct as the day-to-day contact for clients on active projects: status updates, scheduling, site access, questions, and follow-up.\nObtain, compare, and manage vendor quotes and bookings for drilling, pile testing, equipment, labs, and travel, and keep vendor costs within project budgets.\nBuild and maintain project schedules, and coordinate field work and technologist scheduling with the Senior Geotechnical Engineer who leads the technical team.\nTrack scope changes, prepare change orders for the Account Manager's approval, and work with project accounting on invoicing and collections status.\nSet up projects in Deltek and HubSpot, maintain project files to PRI's document control standard, and close out projects when complete.\nWatch for anything that threatens a schedule or a client relationship, and raise it early.\nInside sales\nRespond to and qualify inbound inquiries, route them to the Account Manager, and keep prospects warm.\nPrepare quotes and proposal drafts from PRI templates for the Account Manager to finalize.\nKeep HubSpot current: accounts, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up tasks.\nResearch target accounts and support outbound campaigns and trade show follow-up.\nWhat you bring\nRequired\nDiploma or degree in business, project management, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n3 or more years coordinating projects in engineering, construction, renewable energy, or another field-based technical business.\nExperience managing vendors and subcontractors, including quotes, bookings, and cost tracking.\nStrong scheduling and organizational skills, with the ability to keep many projects moving at once and never lose track of a commitment.\nConfident, professional communication with clients by phone and email, and the diplomacy to get what you need from busy engineers and field crews.\nComfort with CRM and project systems; HubSpot and Deltek experience are assets, as is practical use of AI tools to work faster.\nMeticulous attention to detail on budgets, change orders, invoicing, and files.\nPreferred\nExposure to solar, wind, or energy storage projects, or to geotechnical and foundation work.\nExperience supporting projects in the United States, including vendor and travel logistics across the border.\nInside sales or quoting experience in a technical services business.\nProject management training such as CAPM or equivalent.\nWhy PRI\nA central seat on a growing team in one of Canada's fastest-growing markets.\nReal ownership from day one, and a clear path toward project management or account management as the team grows.\nEngineers and technologists who respect good coordination, and leaders who want you to run things your way.\nA firm investing in modern tools, including HubSpot, Deltek, and AI-enabled approaches.\nCompetitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and support for professional development.\nPRI is an equal-opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
