The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial driver who values safety, professionalism, and customer service.\nWhat You'll Do\nSafely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and local regulations.\nDeliver finished products to customers and transport raw materials from vendors.\nConduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections.\nComplete required inspection reports, logs, and transportation documentation.\nLoad and unload freight using mechanical freight-handling equipment as needed.\nHook and unhook trailers, including converter dollies and trailer landing gear.\nPerform trailer swaps and container exchanges, including connecting and disconnecting transfer hoses as required.\nPerform basic vehicle maintenance, fueling, and cleanliness checks.\nVerify shipping documents and ensure required paperwork accompanies every shipment.\nMaintain accurate records to support DOT and regulatory compliance.\nCommunicate effectively with customers, vendors, dispatch, and internal teams regarding schedules and delivery requirements.\nReport accidents, incidents, and equipment concerns promptly.\nParticipate in safety meetings, company meetings, and ongoing training initiatives.\nEquipment & Schedule\nDrive well-maintained 2019 Freightliner sleeper tractors with approximately 500,000 miles or less.\nTrailer swap schedules are communicated by 1:00 PM for the following day.\nSome trailer swaps may occur overnight while customer facilities are closed.\nFull trailer pickups and drop-offs.\nTypically up to two overnight trips per week.\nConsistent work schedule and reliable hours.\nHome every weekend.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).\nMinimum of 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.\nAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).\nAbility to meet or exceed U.S. Department of Transportation medical requirements.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overnight travel.\nPreferred\nExperience with trailer swaps, drop-and-hook operations, and manufacturing or industrial deliveries.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety.\nCompensation & Benefits\n$28.00 per hour\nAverage annual earnings of approximately $100,000 plus\n$40.00 per diem for overnight travel\nConsistent schedule and dependable workload\nModern sleeper tractors\nHome every weekend\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.\nAbility to safely enter and exit tractors, trailers, and loading areas.\nManual dexterity required for operating vehicle controls, securing loads, and handling equipment.\nWork Environment\nThis position works in both driving and manufacturing environments and may be exposed to:\nDust, noise, and varying temperatures\nIndustrial equipment and moving machinery\nVehicle maintenance areas and loading docks\nRequired use of PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear when necessary\nWhy Join Us?\nIf you're a professional CDL driver looking for excellent earning potential, consistent hours, quality equipment, limited overnight travel, and weekends at home, we'd love to hear from you.
