This is a highly visible leadership role that combines technical accounting expertise, operational excellence, process improvement, and team development.\nReporting to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, leading a disciplined close process, strengthening internal controls, and building a scalable accounting organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering across the business to improve performance and drive results.\nWhat You'll Do\nDrive Financial Integrity and Controls\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.\nMaintain the integrity of the general ledger, balance sheet, and financial statements.\nOversee reconciliations, accruals, reserves, estimates, and accounting judgments.\nStrengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance processes.\nEnsure appropriate documentation, approvals, and segregation of duties across accounting activities.\nLead Manufacturing & Multi-Entity Accounting\nOversee inventory accounting, standard costing, reserves, manufacturing variances, and fixed assets.\nManage intercompany accounting and consolidations across multiple legal entities.\nPartner with Operations and Finance leaders to improve financial visibility and support business decision-making.\nMonitor and enhance accounting processes that support manufacturing operations and operational efficiency.\nOwn Audit & Technical Accounting\nServe as the primary lead for external audits and maintain audit readiness throughout the year.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.\nOversee accounting for acquisitions, purchase accounting, goodwill and intangible assets, revenue recognition, leases, and other technical accounting areas.\nResearch and implement accounting standards and best practices as needed.\nBuild a High-Performing Accounting Organization\nDevelop and mentor an accounting team focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nDefine clear roles, responsibilities, and processes within the accounting function.\nStrengthen collaboration between Accounting, FP&A, and business finance teams.\nLeverage shared-service and offshore resources to create efficient, scalable accounting operations.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.\nDeep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting.\nSignificant manufacturing accounting experience, including:\nInventory accounting\nStandard costing\nManufacturing variances\nFixed assets\nReserves and reconciliations\nExperience managing complex multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and close processes.\nProven experience leading external audits and strengthening internal controls.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA designation strongly preferred.\nExperience in a private equity-backed, rapidly growing, or evolving business environment.\nExperience with acquisitions, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integrations.\nERP implementation, optimization, or conversion experience.\nExperience leveraging shared-service or offshore accounting resources.\nExperience leading accounting transformation and process improvement initiatives.\nWhat Will Make You Successful\nYou are both strategic and hands-on, able to balance leadership responsibilities with technical execution.\nYou thrive in an environment where building structure, discipline, and accountability creates business value.\nYou possess exceptional analytical skills and sound professional judgment.\nYou can effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to business leaders and executive stakeholders.\nYou enjoy developing people, improving processes, and creating scalable solutions that support growth.\nWhy Join Ecore?\nEcore is an innovative manufacturer with a commitment to sustainability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
