This position may also assume supervisory responsibilities during the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor or during off-shift operations.\nDuties and Responsibilities: \nLeadership & Team Support\nProvide daily guidance and support to maintenance team members.\nCoordinate maintenance work activities and prioritize repair requests.\nServe as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related issues during assigned shifts.\nCommunicate equipment concerns and operational issues to management and maintenance staff.\nAct as a liaison between Maintenance, Production, Shipping, and Sales departments.\nReport shift activities, issues, and updates to the Maintenance Supervisor.\nStep into a supervisory role when needed.\nEquipment Maintenance & Reliability\nPerform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical production equipment.\nAssist in diagnosing equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.\nSupport preventive maintenance (PM) programs and planned maintenance schedules.\nHelp ensure production equipment is operating efficiently to meet manufacturing goals.\nProvide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians.\nParts & Inventory Management\nAssist in identifying and sourcing replacement parts and maintenance supplies.\nCoordinate with purchasing personnel to order required materials.\nSupport the management and maintenance of spare parts inventory.\nWork to minimize production downtime through proactive planning.\nSafety & Quality\nPromote and enforce safe work practices and company safety policies.\nEnsure employees follow proper machine operation and forklift procedures.\nAssist in conducting routine safety meetings.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.\nSupport quality standards by ensuring maintenance work is completed accurately and effectively.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nMinimum EM2 level leadership experience, with EM3-level experience preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience with at least one year of leadership experience as a team lead or other leadership responsibility to include one direct report.\nMust demonstrate the ability to self-manage while managing others with limited oversight during their shift.\nPLC experience desired.\nStrong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability with 110, 240, and 480. Combination of certifications and experience a must.\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working on industrial machinery required.\nBasic welding and fabrication skills desired.\nExperience working with equipment and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to coordinate personnel and resources to meet production objectives.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nAbility to read, understand, and apply technical information.\nBasic computer skills, including:\nWork order management\nInventory data entry\nEmail communication\nMaintenance tracking systems\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nPreferred\nPrevious leadership, lead technician, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience supporting preventive maintenance programs.\nFamiliarity with inventory management and parts procurement.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: Preferred\nWork Environment:\nThe work environment characteristics below are grease, and other manufacturing-related conditions. \nMay require working at heights, in confined spaces, or around production equipment during maintenance and repair activities. \nRequires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, gloves, and other safety equipment as required. \nPosition may require support during off-shift operations, overtime, weekends, emergency breakdowns, or periods of increased production demand. \nFrequent interaction with maintenance personnel, production employees, supervisors, and other
