In this role, you will be responsible for operating grinding equipment, bagging finished materials, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, forklift operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.\nThis position also supports production documentation, inventory data entry, equipment maintenance, and cross-training opportunities throughout the department.\nKey Responsibilities\nMachine Operation & Production\nOperate grinding equipment, bagging systems, and dust collection equipment with minimal supervision.\nPerform daily visual inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and work areas.\nReview production orders and set up equipment for daily operations.\nOperate bagging equipment to fill and label bags according to production requirements.\nLoad materials into grinders and monitor production flow.\nInspect materials for contamination and maintain product quality standards.\nMove finished products to designated warehouse locations.\nRecord production information and complete data entry accurately.\nPerform thorough cleaning of grinding equipment and surrounding areas after production runs.\nQuality & Safety\nFollow all quality procedures and standards throughout the manufacturing process.\nContinuously inspect products to ensure quality requirements are met.\nAdhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nReport equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.\nMaterial Handling\nSafely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods.\nUtilize pneumatic tools and other production equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.\nHousekeeping & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\nPrevent contamination during color changes and production transitions.\nParticipate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.\nAttend production, safety, and company meetings as required.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing/machine operator experience.\nMinimum 6 months of forklift experience.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\nBasic computer and data entry skills.\nAbility to perform basic math calculations and understand units of measure.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.\nCommitment to workplace safety and quality standards.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\nPreferred\nPrevious manufacturing or machine operator experience.\nERP system
