future of our products and services by:\nUnderstanding business problems and customer needs.\nLeading product discovery and prioritisation.\nMaintaining a clear roadmap of future investment.\nMeasuring outcomes and realised value.\nEnsuring delivery teams have well-defined, high-quality work ready for development.\nWorking closely with UX, Delivery Managers, Technical Leads, QA Engineers, Architects and business stakeholders, Product Owners help ensure we build the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.\n Key Accountabilities Strategic Product Leadership\nOwn and maintain a rolling product roadmap aligned to business strategy, customer needs and organisational priorities.\nAct as the primary interface between the business and Technology for the value stream.\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops, strategic reviews and prioritisation sessions.\nCommunicate progress, risks, opportunities and dependencies in a clear and outcome-focused manner.\nEnsure Product is the recognised route through which business problems and opportunities are assessed and prioritised.\nProduct Discovery & Customer Insight\nLead continuous discovery activities to identify opportunities, pain points and unmet customer needs.\nWork closely with UX and stakeholders to ensure that customer insights inform product decisions.\nBalance qualitative and quantitative evidence when assessing opportunities.\nValidate assumptions before committing significant delivery effort.\nMaintain a prioritised opportunity backlog to support future roadmap decisions.\nProduct Roadmap & Prioritisation\nManage and prioritise the product backlog in line with agreed strategic objectives.\nMake prioritisation decisions using customer insight, business value, risk, effort and technical considerations.\nDefine and communicate product goals, initiatives, features and delivery priorities.\nEnsure all work can be traced from strategic intent through to delivery execution.\nOutcome & Value Management\nDefine and maintain measurable objectives, key results and product performance measures.\nEnsure product decisions are informed by evidence and aligned to agreed business outcomes.\nMonitor adoption, customer experience, operational efficiency and value delivery metrics.\nSupport business case development, benefits realisation and investment decisions.\nDelivery Readiness & Product Quality\nProduce high-quality epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.\nEnsure work entering delivery meets agreed Definition of Ready standards.\nCollaborate with Delivery Managers, Technical Leads and QA Engineers to improve delivery predictability and quality.\nEnsure requirements are understood, testable and aligned to business priorities.\nExcellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.\nStrong discovery, problem definition and requirements skills.\nExperience of translating business problems into valuable product outcomes.\nConfidence working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.\nAbility to build business cases and perform cost-benefit analysis.\nStrong understanding of Agile delivery practices.\nExperience defining and measuring OKRs, KPIs or product success metrics.\nExcellent user story and acceptance criteria writing skills.\nStrong backlog management and prioritisation capability.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams including UX, Engineering, QA and Delivery.\nRisk, dependency and issue management skills.\nStrong presentation and communication skills.\nExcellent written communication and documentation skills.\nRequirements\nProven delivery of successful digital products, platforms or services.\nStrong Jira experience, including backlog management, hierarchy and reporting.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments.\nEvidence of customer-centred product thinking and decision making.\nExperience using customer insight, business data and performance metrics to drive prioritisation.\nStrong understanding of product discovery and validation techniques.\nExperience creating delivery-ready requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria and epics.\nHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills.\nAbility to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrable ownership and accountability for outcomes.\nPassion for continuous improvement and personal development.\nAdvantageous\nExperience with Jira Product Discovery.\nAtlassian Confluence experience.\nExperience working across multiple delivery teams and platforms.\nWorking knowledge of UX research and user-centred design approaches.\nExperience defining Product KPIs, OKRs or performance frameworks.\nExperience of accessibility and inclusive design principles.\nExperience with behavioural analytics, observability or customer insight tooling.\nProduct Owner certification
