The role contributes to the academic, enrollment, and student-success systems that operate within ECPI’s regulated higher-education environment.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and web solutions\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices\nTroubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes in a timely manner\nPerform quality assurance testing for upgrades, patches, and new releases\nAssist in maintaining and improving existing systems and applications\nStay current with emerging technologies, tools, and development methodologies\nPerform other duties as assigned\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and practical experience)\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nFoundational knowledge of programming concepts, data structures, and software design principles\nExperience with C# and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)\nBasic understanding of relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)\nExperience using modern IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code)\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nExperience working with APIs or web services\nFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies\nKnowledge of UI/UX design principles\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted coding
