In addition to the design and maintenance of applications, the Software Developer performs ongoing assessment to ensure applications are visually effective, accessible, secure, and easy to use. This role participates in Agile development teams and leverages modern software engineering practices, including source control, AI-assisted development tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain software applications and services.\nDevelop web applications and business solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and team members to gather and refine application requirements.\nUse GitHub for source control, code reviews, branch management, versioning, and team collaboration.\nApply software development best practices to maintain and improve platforms and applications.\nUtilize AI-assisted development tools and Generative AI technologies to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and development efficiency while adhering to organizational standards and security requirements.\nAssist in the development and integration of AI-enabled features, automation solutions, APIs, and intelligent workflows where appropriate.\nDocument code, create technical specifications, and maintain application documentation.\nPerform quality assurance testing of upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new releases.\nTroubleshoot application issues and support deployment activities.\nContinually learn emerging technologies, methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices.\nAbility to work under tight time constraints with dynamic requirements.\nExcellent organizational, time management, planning, and prioritization skills.\nAll other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nEducation/Experience\nFour-year college degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.\n2-5 years of professional software development experience.\nExperience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments preferred.\nExposure to AI-assisted development tools, Generative AI platforms, or intelligent automation technologies is preferred.\nSkills/Abilities\nKnowledge of software design principles, application architecture, and development best practices.\nExperience with commonly used programming design concepts, practices, and procedures.\nExperience with modern IDEs;
