The Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for cultivating opportunities for future construction projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building a financially successful project. The Senior Project Manager typically oversees 10 active projects and acts as the primary with Project Mangers and Assistant Project Managers reporting to them.\nDuties and Responsibilities include the following:\nManaging all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects, typically $10 million annually and ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards.\nCompletes Pre-Job tasks such as Viewpoint Pre-Job checklists, meetings, and EC Contract content review.\nReview obtain signatures from General Contractor to include non-disclosure, vendor and supplies agreements.\nDevelop and communicate the project execution plan to necessary parties.\nCreate and review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project\nEnsure project safety and quality is properly incorporated into job planning and execution.\nEstablish the work plan and staffing for each phase of project fully understanding project scope and potential risks.\nAccountable for contract management, claims and disputes resolutions.\nWork with Estimating department to review estimates, RECAPS and turnover as well as the ability to estimate and procure electrical projects in a competitive market successfully.\nActs as a mentor for new and existing project managers as well as assistant project managers on their team.\nActively maintaining customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.\nUnderstand general contractor’s (GC) cost reporting and management plan, proactively communicating GC expectations.\nActs as a liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues and communicate with GC regarding project milestones, etc.\nManages project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems.\nDevelop and maintain EC Electric resource loaded master schedule.\nSet cash flow goals, update schedule of values and establish check signer for emergencies.\nGenerate MOP’s and review detailed three-week look ahead schedule for projects.\nEnsure Project Managers are actively managing crew composite factor by comparing budgeted numbers to actual.\nUnderstand and follow GC’s master control program with regards to documents.\nCreate construction estimate to align with project workflow and customers master schedule.\nComplete project audit checklists and retain with other vital project documents.\nRegularly coordinate owner/GC weekly meetings to ensure ongoing open communication.\nOversight of OFCI equipment tracking, EC equipment receiving and quality control plan and management.\nAccurate monthly financial forecasting for all projects.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered. \n8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial electrical construction, including oversight of multiple concurrent projects. \nDemonstrated success managing project portfolios exceeding $10 million annually, with responsibility for financial performance, forecasting, and budget control. \nStrong knowledge of construction contracts, risk management, change orders, claims resolution, and subcontractor/vendor agreements. \nExperience leading project teams, mentoring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders. \nProven ability to develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, procurement activities, cash flow projections, and quality assurance programs. \nExtensive knowledge of construction safety standards, jobsite risk mitigation, and implementation of injury-free work practices. \nExcellent communication, customer relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, general contractors, field teams, and executive leadership.\nBenefits\nSalary range for this position is $115,000-$180,000 annually.\nOpportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.\n401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)\nPlease find more information on our compensation package here.\nhttps://ecpowerslife.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/EC-Benefit-Summary-Applicants.pdf \nIn addition to significant career growth opportunities, full-time employees enjoy a competitive pay rate, paid holidays and PTO; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401k plan and Employee Assistance Program.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nEC Electric is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and supports a drug free workplace program.
