The Project Executive role has overall accountability for insuring construction projects are performed in a safe and effective manner. This role is fully responsible for cultivating and securing opportunities for future projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building financially successful projects that are driven by company directives. The Project Executive typically oversees 25+ millions in annual revenue volume depending on types of markets; with Senior Project Managers and Project Mangers reporting to them as well as administrative staff.\nDuties and Responsibilities include the following:\nManaging all business aspects with their team for multiple concurrent projects concurrently ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards. \nActively manage the workload, professional development, and client development skills of project management staff. Promote client development while developing professional skills of project management staff.\nPromote positive customer relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all contractors, subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the business unit with regards to safety, quality, customer service and profitability. \nInitiate, execute, and document a quality pre-con, start-up meeting aligned with company standard. \nAccountable for contract management, claims and disputes resolutions. \nWork with Estimating department to review estimates, RECAPS and turnover as well as the ability to estimate and procure electrical projects in a competitive market successfully. \nActs as a mentor for new and existing Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Manager on their team. \nPerform weekly/monthly reviews with teams to ensure adherence to schedules, quality of work, safety, administration and profitability. \nEnsure qualified personnel are in place for making specific assignments that will meet project deliverables and make specific project assignments to meet project needs. \nSchedule, facilitate, and document project close out meetings. Verify project data sheets and photos (with client’s permission) for all completed projects. \nDrive division profitability through effective project execution. \nDevelop the organization to achieve excellence through continuous improvement. Support lesson learned activity and implement identified initiatives. \nEnsure adherence to EC Electric’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices. \nRecruit, manage, and develop the group of direct reports. \nResponsible for work assignments, hiring, termination, promotions, and performance appraisals, as needed.\nReview the overall contractual requirements/ risks for all projects.\nManage project review process with emphasis on insuring quality financial forecasting. \nEnsure construction estimates are completed to align with project workflow and customers master schedule.\nProactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks and successes to the team and all direct reports. \nProvide and maintains annual business plans in conjunction with overall company, updating results on a quarterly basis. \nDemonstrate a consistent ability to conduct daily tact and professionalism in communicating with external and internal customers.\nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nSenior leadership experience in construction project delivery, including full P&L responsibility for a business unit managing $25M+ in annual revenue and multiple concurrent projects.\nExtensive electrical construction or specialty contracting experience, with strong knowledge of estimating, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, and cost forecasting in a competitive market.\nProven people leadership and talent development capability, including recruiting, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning for senior project managers and project teams.\nAdvanced financial and business acumen, demonstrated ability to drive profitability through accurate forecasting, budget control, risk management, and strategic business planning.\nExpertise in safety, quality, and compliance leadership, with a strong track record of promoting injury-free environments, enforcing safe work practices, and upholding organizational standards.\nExceptional client relationship and communication skills, including managing customer expectations, resolving claims and disputes, and maintaining professional, trust-based partnerships with clients and trade partners.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and substantial industry experience; advanced certifications or leadership training preferred.\nBenefits\nSalary range for this position is $170,000-$225,000 annually.\nOpportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.\n401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)\nPlease find more information on our compensation package here.\nhttps://ecpowerslife.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/EC-Benefit-Summary-Applicants.pdf \nIn addition to significant career growth opportunities, full-time employees enjoy a competitive pay rate, paid holidays and PTO; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401k plan and Employee Assistance Program.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nEC Electric is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and supports a drug free workplace program.
