Navisworks.\nExperience in commercial, residential, educational, healthcare and industrial projects.\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Digital Engineering, or related field.\nFamiliarity with ISO 19650 standards and digital project delivery frameworks.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.\nKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE\nPossess a good knowledge of the practicalities of design, and the ability to make informed design decisions.\nAn understanding of the overall workings of BIM modelling is essential, and the ability to fill in for senior staff when required, e.g., model set-up and management. \nBasic understanding of LEAN principles, ISO 19650 and Information Management - Cobie/IFC Delivery.\nUse Autodesk Revit tools to present design and engineering solutions.\nNaviswork Clash - detection process for MEP Coordination,\nSchematics Production in AutoCAD from Floor plan / Mark up.\nDocument all designs in accordance with requirements of design practice manuals.\nManage own continuous development and support the development of colleagues.\nAbility to prioritise workload and manage multiple jobs/tasks.\nDrive excellence through high-quality work.\nProactive approach to work with a strong team spirit.\nConfident to speak up and make decisions.\nROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign management of projects as appropriate to ensure deadlines are met.\nCarry out M&E design workas applicable using REVIT MEP and Navis delivering constructible 3D clash free models for EDC’s clients.\nProduce Revit models coordinated with architectural and structural designs.\nAssist the project lead in preparing calculations and construction documentation.\nResearch, plan, design and develop building engineering systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing and electrical, in strict consultation and coordination with the project lead.\nEnsure BIM & CAD standards are upheld\nBENEFITS\nWhilst working with EDC you will have every opportunity to get stuck in and make an impact immediately.
