This is an opportunity for an emerging communications professional who enjoys writing, staying organized, collaborating across teams, and helping bring complex healthcare stories to life.\nIn this role, you'll support day-to-day account activities across respiratory and immunology communications, helping develop high-quality materials, coordinate client deliverables, and keep projects moving forward.\nWe're looking for someone who takes initiative, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys learning. While previous healthcare or pharmaceutical communications experience is a plus, we're also open to candidates with strong public relations fundamentals and an interest in the healthcare industry.\nYour day-to-day work may include:\nDrafting and adapting press releases, key messages, briefing documents, and other client-facing materials.\nCoordinating project timelines, deliverables, internal reviews, and client communications.\nSupporting the development of project briefs and collaborating with creative, digital, and other internal teams.\nPreparing meeting agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items and follow-ups.\nMaintaining activity reports and supporting day-to-day account operations.\nAssisting with regulatory review and approval processes, including Veeva submissions, with training and guidance as needed.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Service & Account Coordination\nSupport day-to-day client communications, manage assigned deliverables, and proactively follow up on timelines and next steps.\nCoordinate internal reviews and approvals to ensure materials are accurate, organized, and delivered on time.\nParticipate in client meetings, prepare agendas and recaps, and help keep projects moving forward.\nContent & Storytelling\nDraft, edit, and adapt communications materials, including press releases, key messages, briefing documents, and stakeholder content.\nTranslate complex healthcare information into clear, accurate, and engaging communications for different audiences.\nIncorporate feedback from senior team members and clients while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Operations\nPartner with colleagues across account, creative, digital, and project management teams to support integrated communications programs.\nHelp coordinate materials through internal and client review processes, including regulatory submissions when applicable.\nMaintain accurate reporting, project documentation, and activity tracking across multiple workstreams.\nProfessional Growth\nDemonstrate initiative, accountability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.\nDevelop a strong understanding of healthcare communications, client needs, and industry trends.\nContribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of 1 year of professional experience in public relations, communications, public affairs, or a related field.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with experience developing PR or client-facing materials.\nAbility to manage multiple deliverables, coordinate timelines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience supporting client accounts, managing follow-ups, and collaborating across teams.\nInterest in healthcare or pharmaceutical communications; previous industry experience is a plus.\nFamiliarity with regulatory review processes, Veeva, or similar content approval platforms is a plus.\nProactive, detail-oriented approach to work, with sound judgment and a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.\nSalary Range: $55,000 - $68,000 a year\nAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
