Digital Culture Strategy Supervisor

This role will translate business challenges, audience behaviors and cultural signals into social-first strategies, creative territories and content systems that are relevant to people and native to each platform.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong writing and editorial judgment, understands how communities and platform behaviors shape communication, and can connect Edelman’s strengths in reputation, earned influence and corporate communications with modern social strategy. The role partners closely with Creative, Influence, Data & Intelligence, Paid Media, Brand and Corporate teams, and contributes to both client work and new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Social & Cultural Strategy - Lead social-first strategies grounded in business objectives, audience behaviors, cultural context and platform dynamics.
• Audience & Cultural Insight - Identify human tensions, emerging behaviors, communities and cultural signals, and turn them into clear strategic implications for brands and organizations.
• Creative & Content Strategy - Develop narratives, creative territories, content pillars, editorial systems and briefs that give creative teams and creators a strong strategic springboard.
• Platform Strategy - Define the role of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging environments, adapting ideas to the behaviors, formats and expectations of each channel.
• Community & Creator Thinking - Help shape community participation, engagement models and creator strategies in partnership with Community, Influence and Creative teams.
• Intelligence to Strategy - Work with Data & Intelligence to interpret social listening, search behavior, audience data and performance signals, translating findings into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Client Counsel - Present strategic points of view and recommendations to clients, simplify complex ideas and help senior stakeholders make informed digital and social decisions.
• Integrated Collaboration - Partner with Digital, Creative, Influence, Paid, Corporate, Brand and other practices to build connected solutions across earned, owned, social and paid channels.
• New Business - Contribute to pitches and growth opportunities by developing insights, strategic narratives, social ecosystems and platform recommendations.
• Team Leadership & Quality - Guide junior team members, raise the quality of briefs and strategic outputs, and ensure work is clear, culturally relevant, executable and aligned with client objectives.
