Working alongside designers, creative leads, client teams and producers, you will develop visual assets across digital, social, print, internal communications and brand-led outputs, then animate selected assets for motion, video and screen-based use.\nAs part of a global studio team, you will support projects across multiple markets. Adapting static and animated work for regional audiences while maintaining creative excellence and production quality across layouts, motion systems, file formats and delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and animate high-quality assets for digital, social, print, screen and brand communications.\nTranslate briefs into static layouts, style-frames, storyboards and motion-ready design systems.\nCreate visual systems, campaign assets, social formats, infographics, icons, illustrations, templates and motion toolkits.\nAnimate assets using keyframes, transitions, timing, pacing, type animation and simple compositing.\nPrepare animation timelines, production files, renders and exports that meet Edelman's Studio and delivery standards.\nWork with Creative Leads, Client Leads and Production teams from brief through design, animation, feedback and final delivery.\nAdapt design and motion assets across different markets, languages, aspect ratios and output formats.\nManage multiple projects, version control, asset packaging, render and quality checks and final exports while meeting tight deadlines.\nThis role would report into the Design Lead in South Africa.\nRequirements\n3+ years' experience in graphic design, studio design or motion design within an agency or creative studio environment.\nStrong design skills across layout, typography, composition, visual systems and brand consistency.\nExcellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with animation capability in After Effects and familiarity with Premiere Pro or similar production tools.\nAbility to take a static design from concept and layout through to animated output.\nStrong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to follow briefs, production schedules and feedback rounds.\nUnderstanding of production requirements including storyboards, style-frames, animatics, codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios, safe areas, renders, file packaging and final delivery specs.\nExperience with AI-assisted design or animation tools, plus knowledge of Figma, is an advantage.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPassionate about both design and animation.\nCraft focused, detail-oriented work by performing thorough quality checks before reviews.\nDetail-oriented, organised and confident taking work from static layouts into animated outputs.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced agency and production environment.\nCollaborative, open to feedback and able to work across creative and production teams.\nConfident supporting client-facing work and preparing polished files for review, render and delivery.\nPlease submit a portfolio and/or showreel showcasing relevant design and animation work alongside your CV as part of your application.\nWe are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway.
