We bring cultural intelligence and deep audience understanding to strategy, earned media, creators, partnerships, brand reputation, and integrated communications.\nThe Senior Account Supervisor, Multicultural will play a key role on one of Edelman’s top food and beverage accounts, helping lead multicultural strategy and communications with a particular focus on Hispanic/Latino audiences. This is an opportunity for a culturally fluent, bilingual communications professional to bring their expertise to a large, integrated client relationship.\nThe role will focus on leading earned media workstreams, providing strategic counsel, translating cultural and audience insights into communications strategies, managing creator/partnership work, building deep relationships with multicultural media, supporting experiential activations, and collaborating across teams to ensure multicultural audiences are considered from the beginning. The Senior Account Supervisor will also manage junior talent, build strong client relationships, and contribute to account growth.\nThe ideal candidate is professionally fluent in English and Spanish, has demonstrated experience developing communications for Hispanic/Latino audiences and has a strong pulse on culture, consumer behavior and the evolving media landscape. They should be equally comfortable developing strategy, translating media materials, counseling clients and leading execution.\nResponsibilities:\nClient Counsel: Serve as a trusted day-to-day client partner, providing strategic multicultural counsel and identifying opportunities to strengthen the work.\nStrategy: Translate audience research, cultural insights and emerging trends into communications strategies that support client and business objectives.\nIntegrated Leadership: Lead workstreams from strategy through execution, collaborating with account, strategy, creative, earned, influencer and other teams to deliver integrated programs.\nEarned Media & Storytelling: Develop and lead earned media strategies, proactive storytelling and outreach across multicultural, Hispanic/Latino, consumer, lifestyle and relevant food and beverage media.\nCreators & Partnerships: Identify and manage creators, influencers, spokespeople and cultural or community partners that can authentically connect clients with priority audiences.\nCultural & Language Counsel: Provide guidance on cultural context, language, tone and nuance, including reviewing and developing English- and Spanish-language communications.\nClient & Category Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, consumers, competitors and category, and use that knowledge to identify opportunities and strengthen recommendations.\nTalent Leadership: Manage and develop junior team members through clear direction, delegation, coaching and consistent feedback.\nAccount Management: Manage multiple workstreams, timelines and deliverables while supporting strong account performance, including scope, staffing, budgets and quality.\nBusiness Growth: Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and multicultural work and contribute to organic growth and new-business efforts.\nBasic Qualifications:\nAt least 6 years of experience in public relations, multicultural communications, integrated communications, marketing and/or related fields, preferably including agency experience.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.\nProfessional fluency in English and Spanish.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFood and beverage and/or CPG communications experience highly preferred, particularly experience working with large consumer brands.\nStrong understanding of multicultural media, creators, cultural trends and consumer behavior.\nStrong earned media experience and relevant media relationships.\nExcellent writing, editing, presentation and client communication skills.\nDemonstrated experience developing communications strategies and programs for Hispanic/Latino audiences.\nExperience leading client workstreams and managing projects from strategy through execution.\nExperience managing and developing junior team members.\nExperience working across integrated teams, including strategy, creative, social, influencer and earned media.\nStrong business acumen, including experience with account operations, organic growth and new business.\n$80,000 - $110,000 a year\nAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
