You will be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to continuously develop your knowledge, while demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability. The ability to effectively support both clients and internal teams is essential, as is exceptional attention to detail and a working knowledge of SQL queries.\nWhat you will be doing:\nPerform final gateway validation of new and existing products within testing environments, ensuring alignment with agreed customer requirements and specifications.\nValidate new and enhanced products from the client’s perspective prior to formal User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nReview business requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and enhance testing practices.\nLog, track and perform initial analysis of defects identified during system integration testing, working closely with internal teams and project managers to resolve issues and coordinate regression testing.\nProvide direct support to clients during UAT, validating reported issues through reproduction and maintaining an accurate known issues log.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and tools to enhance quality and operational efficiency.\nEnsure the quality and accuracy of all delivered product changes.\nCommunicate effectively on testing activities, validation outcomes, issue investigations, progress updates and resolutions.\nSupport Project Managers throughout the delivery lifecycle of new and enhanced products.\nCreate, maintain and expand knowledge base articles within Confluence and SharePoint.\nMentor, train and support colleagues and new team members.\nDesign, estimate, implement, test and support:\nNew products on the PPS payment platform.\nEnhancements and changes to existing products.\nProvide technical support to the Delivery team during client implementations.\nDocument new functionality, tools, processes and procedures.\nManage deployment activities, including change management processes and scripting using Shell and SQL within Unix/Oracle environments.\nReview proposed changes to minimise risk and ensure deployment accuracy.\nProduce effort estimates for new projects and change requests.\nProvide out of hours support on a rota basis where required\nWhat you will bring:\nEssential:\nWorking knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write basic to intermediate queries.\nBasic understanding of UNIX commands for directory navigation and file viewing.\nTechnical background with software testing experience.\nExperience creating test plans from gathered requirements.\nManual testing experience.\nAbility to quickly understand and learn technical concepts.\nFamiliarity with XML.\nComfortable working in a technical environment, troubleshooting client testing issues and working to tight deadlines.\nSelf-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.\nPositive, proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.\nGood understanding of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.\nDesirable:\nSupport experience.\nExperience within the card payments industry.\nExperience using JIRA.\nWhy Edenred Payment Solutions?\nWe are a subsidiary of the Edenred group and leaders in prepaid solutions including banking, virtual cards, debit, credit, and prepaid processing.\nAs an Edenred Payment Solutions employee you will get the support and structure that you need to enjoy your work and develop your career while doing what you love and making a difference in a fast-paced and innovative business.\nWhat you will get:\n25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays\nHybrid working environment (min. 3 days per week in the office)\nPension Scheme - employer 6% with minimum employee contribution 3%\nDiscretionary bonus scheme based on company and personal performance\nMedical & international travel cover (leisure and action sports)\nLife insurance (4x salary)\nWellbeing Employee Assistance Program (extended access to family members)\nHoliday trading scheme\nSeason ticket loan\nCycle to Work scheme\nEmployee discount shopping platform\nEmployee referral bonus scheme\nDigital learning platform\nComplimentary fruit and other ‘in office’ snacks & refreshments\nVolunteering programme\nSocial events\nDiversity:\nEdenred Payment Solutions are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
