Using industry best practices, you will establish measurable Service Level Indicators (SLIs) that provide precise, data-driven metrics to evaluate performance against these SLOs. You will continuously monitor and analyse these indicators, including network performance metrics to detect deviations early, enabling proactive incident response and targeted improvements.\nYou will oversee system and network capacity and performance, manage resource utilisation efficiently, and conduct thorough cost analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.\nWhat you will be doing:\nEnsure PCI DSS compliance and implement best practices such as the latest encryption, access control, documentation and patching to maintain the highest level of security. \nCollaborate with AWS architects to design and implement scalable, secure AWS infrastructure that effectively supports application deployment and operations, providing input and expertise as necessary. \nEstablish and advocate for best practices in networking and infrastructure connectivity, enhancing system efficiency and reliability. \nAutomate processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Env0 to improve operational efficiency and deployment speed. \nMonitor and optimise system performance and security of both on-prem, and cloud resources. \nScale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives. \nPerform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and business continuity plan (BCP) reviews, collaborate with Infosec to maintain secure platforms and ensure timely implementation of security patches. \nEvaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and overall performance. \nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance. \nMaintaining and verifying resilience, availability, and disaster recovery. \nDefine, implement, and monitor SLAs by establishing measurable SLOs and SLIs, using data-driven insights to ensure service reliability meets business expectations and proactively address any deviations.\nWhat you will bring:\nEssential Criteria:\nStrong expertise in AWS services and architecture: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures using AWS tools and services. \nCertifications in relevant technologies: Possession of industry certifications to validate expertise. \nExperience with compliance and security standards: Familiarity with PCI DSS and other relevant security frameworks to ensure the infrastructure meets regulatory requirements and best practices. \nStrong problem-solving collaboration and incident management capabilities. \nWorking knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing.\nWorking knowledge of Check Point Firewall and FortiGate Firewalls.\nStrong TCP/IP and Ethernet experience, including cabling, fibre optics, and Wi-Fi.\nWorking knowledge of VLAN, VPN, and WAN technologies/protocols, such as MPLS and BGP.\nStrong understanding of observability tooling (monitoring, logging, and alerting). \nDesirable Criteria:\nProficiency in scripting and automation: Skills in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell and Terraform for automating tasks and processes. \nUnderstanding of DevOps practices: Familiarity with DevOps principles and methodologies to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams. \nAbility to evaluate and implement new technologies: An aptitude for assessing emerging technologies and tools to enhance the organisation's cloud strategy and infrastructure. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. \nExperience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to support collaborative development and iterative delivery. \nExperience with Jira \nGood working knowledge of ITIL processes such as changes, incident, and problem management. \nWhy Edenred PayTech?\nWe are a subsidiary of the Edenred group and leaders in prepaid solutions including banking, virtual cards, debit, credit, and prepaid processing.\nAs an Edenred PayTech employee you will get the support and structure that you need to enjoy your work and develop your career while doing what you love and making a difference in a fast-paced and innovative business.\nWhat you will get:\n25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays\nHybrid working environment (min. 3 days per week in the office)\nPension Scheme -
