In this role, you’ll work alongside Engineering, Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and business stakeholders to fully understand business needs, conduct gap analyses, and support both functional and non-functional requirements for development and QA teams.\nA background within the Payments, Banking, or Fintech industry would be highly advantageous, and coming from a technical background (QA, Development, IT Operations) would also lend itself well, as you will be working within highly technical environments.\nWhat you will be doing:\nCollaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to analyse;\nNew features\nFixing or optimising existing elements\nUnderstand business cases and be able to arbitrate between requests, challenging requests where appropriate with relevant data\nAssisting Product Managers in prioritizing of workstreams\nAnalyse and capture both internal and external requirements and document them in a clear and concise manner.\nPropose and agree solutions based on best practice and adhering to the rules and regulations of all countries involved\nEvaluating business and technical solution proposals and designs to ensure they meet the business requirements\nIdentify the potential impacts of changes to the existing systems, organisation, partners and clients\nEmploy structured business analysis techniques when problem-solving and eliciting requirements\nFacilitate workshops and product walkthroughs with Clients and Business stakeholders \nRefining user stories with the Product Manager, Business stakeholders, engineering, and wider Business Analyst team\nProduce supporting documentation around processes, static content to support API/Integration documentation, internal or external as required.\nCollaborating with IT development team both onshore and offshore to maximise value of end products, features and solutions\nBuild and maintain relationships with new and current stakeholders across the organisaion, IT Development and 3rd Parties\nWhat you will bring:\nQuick learner within a fast-paced environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skill set\nStrong communication skills both written and verbal with ability to liaise with all levels and areas of the business\nStrong negotiation skills aiding delivery of MVP\nAbility to capture requirements and solutions and document them in a clear and concise manner with supporting diagrams\nResults orientated focused on delivering solutions with a high level of accuracy\nAbility to work on multiple workstreams simultaneously\nHighly organised, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with a sense of ownership and responsibility\nAbility to work with national and international external clients and 3rd parties in a customer-facing business\nExperience interacting with development teams both onshore & and offshore on a day-to-day basis in an Agile environment\nAdvantageous skills include:\nSQL to retrieve data from databases\nFundamentals of software development lifecycles\nExperience in the payments, banking or financial services\nStory writing in BDD\nExperience working within an agile environment\nSystem integration concepts such as REST APIs, webhooks etc.\nProject tools like JIRA, visualisation tools like PowerPoint, Visio or similar\nBehavioural Profile:\nExcellent communication skills, able to understand technical requirements and to communicate solutions to stakeholders\nGood team player.
