Here, your impact matters because Success is Personal.\nThe Opportunity\nThis role is a full time, permanent position based on site at Hinkley Point C.\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Security and Communication Team in delivering safe commissioning activities at Hinkley Point C (HPC).\nReporting to the Lead Commissioning Engineer and Commissioning Manager, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play a visible role in commissioning activities across the site.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of nuclear security practices on a new nuclear power station. Because success is personal.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nReview and prepare commissioning documentation.\nWitness Factory Acceptance Tests at supplier’s premises.\nCarry out surveillance activities of contractor’s installations and commissioning tests.\nCarry out on site commissioning tests.\nImplement security protocols whilst carrying out commissioning tests.\nProvide advice and support to commissioning teams during system and station wide testing.\nWho You Are\nWe're looking for a Commissioning Engineer who is security bias, motivated to learn, and passionate about applying security principles in a complex engineering environment.\nEssential\nElectrical Engineering qualifications, HNC or equivalent, with extensive experience in the field.\nAble to gain and hold security vetting level to SC.\nExperienced working with IP Based networks.\nExperience with CCTV Systems, Access Control systems, Intruder Detection Systems.\nAble to demonstrate experience working within a strong safety and quality culture.\nWillingness to travel to supplier premises - all visits are within the UK.\nDesirable\nCommissioning experience in a highly regulated environment.\nExperience working on a Nuclear Power Station.\nExperience of working within a project organisation.\nAbility to follow approved processes and procedures with a questioning attitude.\nKnowledge of The Nuclear Industries Security Regulations.\nClosing date for applications is Monday November 2nd\nInterviews will be held mid to the end of November\nTo be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 5 years.\n#HinkleyPointCJobs #LI-Hybrid #DestinationNuclear #EDFNuclearJobs\n Success is Personal.
