Working within the civil discipline and embedded in the Sizewell C organisation, you'll help deliver critical geotechnical solutions that support safe and effective construction.\nYou'll contribute to activities like excavation works, foundation construction and backfilling operations that are essential to the successful delivery of a new generation of low-carbon energy infrastructure, helping support the transition towards An Electric Britain.\nEDF EPR Engineering UK delivers the design for nuclear island buildings, systems and equipment for Hinkley Point C and similar projects. Working as part of an integrated team, EPR Engineering supports construction and commissioning while preparing design replication feasibility and related engineering activities.\nThis hybrid role is based at Aztec West in #Bristol, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and occasional travel to #SizewellC to support project activities and stakeholder collaboration.\nWho You Are\nWe're looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with experience supporting civil or geotechnical engineering activities on complex infrastructure or construction projects.\nYou will have:\nExperience working within a civil or geotechnical engineering discipline\nExperience supporting excavation, earthworks, foundation or backfilling activities\nKnowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and their application within construction projects\nExperience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams\nThe ability to review technical information and contribute to engineering solutions\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nSupporting geotechnical engineering activities across the Sizewell C programme\nAssisting with excavation, foundation and backfilling works\nReviewing technical documentation, specifications and engineering deliverables\nContributing to the Main Excavation Backfill scope and related construction activities\nSupporting technical discussions and multidisciplinary engineering reviews\nHelping identify and manage geotechnical risks throughout project delivery\nCollaborating with project stakeholders to support safe and effective construction outcomes\nPay, Benefits and Culture\nAlongside a competitive salary, potential for an annual bonus and a market-leading pension scheme, you'll have access to a range of flexible benefits.
