Because success is personal.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be required to complete the following roles:\nCarry out maintenance activities safely, in accordance with procedures. Doing so will require you to update procedures as required and feeding back on issues found with the plant.\nCarry out reactive, planned, preventative, electro-mechanical maintenance and fault finding.\nSupport various teams on site prior to fuel delivery\nCare and Maintenance preservation and rectification activities.\nPlant Maintenance Instruction authoring/validation.\nWorkshop fit outs and set ups.\nMaintenance during commissioning.\nCorrective maintenance.\nRoutine preventative maintenance, based on a reliability centred approach.\nWorking flexibly as well as actively participate in personal performance appraisals and take ownership of delivering personal development plans.\nUndertake training to upskill to a Light and/or Heavy Mechanical Technician level.\nSupport I&C and Electrical activities if required.\nObserve and report safety, environmental and plant issues in a timely manner.\nEnsure maintenance activities do not adversely affect the environment.\nWho you are\nAs a minimum, entrants will have completed a recognised apprenticeship and received NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation disciplines.\nPossess a sound working knowledge and understanding of performing routine maintenance activities on light and heavy industrial plant, apparatus, or systems.\nDemonstrate a good level of engineering judgement and the ability to work safely.\nExperience should include\nOverhauling various types of valves, pumps, compressors, diesel engines, boilers and drive equipment including V belts, chain drives, couplings and more.\nOverhauling motors, switchgear and control equipment, HVAC, actuators, lighting and small power, and fault finding on AC/DC electrical systems.\nCalibrating and overhauling instrumentation equipment (pressure, flow, level, temperature, etc).
