ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, a cost- effective family of cruise missiles, and a range of guided artillery munitions.\nCNC Programmer requires to independently program and operate CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis machines using Mastercam 2022 and PowerMill Ultimate to manufacture precision components.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nIndependently program, set up, operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis).\nInterpret complex engineering drawings and convert them into CNC programs using\nCAM PACKAGE - MASTERCAM 2022 and PowerMill Ultimate.\nSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for precision components.\nOptimize machining parameters to improve efficiency, tool life, and part quality.\nPerform first-piece inspection and troubleshoot machining issues.\nTrain and guide junior technicians on machine operation and safety practices.\nEnsure routine maintenance and upkeep of CNC equipment and workstations.\nSupport loading and machine setup as necessary\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nDiploma or Degree Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining\nMinimum of 8 plus years of experience with multi-axis CNC machines, mill-turn centers.\nFamiliarity with prototyping or low-volume production workflows.\nMust possess a strong command of the English language and written communication skills.\nStrong initiative to perform cleaning and support activities\nGood troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring abilities.\nCan-do attitude and proactive nature\nCommitment and strong sense of accountability\nOrganization and diligence in reporting work activities\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nProficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T,\nStrong understanding of cutting tools, materials, speeds, and feeds.\nAble to independently produce high-precision parts with minimal supervision.\nSkilled in creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs (G-code, M-code) for multi-axis machining operations.\nProcess Optimization - Ability to fine-tune machining parameters to improve cycle time, tool life, and overall efficiency\nVerify dimensions, clearances, and alignments using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.\nEnsure finished parts meet company quality standards, ISO procedures, and customer requirements.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
