Candidates with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the defence or aerospace industry are preferred.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDemand Planning & Forecasting\nDevelop and maintain demand forecasts for EOIR production and MRO activities based on historical consumption, repair trends, and production schedules.\nCoordinate with Production, Engineering, and MRO teams to align material requirements with planned workloads.\nMonitor demand fluctuations and adjust procurement and stocking strategies accordingly.\nMaterial Planning & Control\nPlan and manage inventory levels of EO components, electronic modules, mechanical parts, optics, and consumables.\nEnsure timely availability of materials for production builds, repair activities, and return-to-service requirements.\nMaintain safety stock levels and reorder points based on criticality, lead times, and repair turnaround targets.\nMonitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.\nPurchase Requisition (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) Management\nRaise Purchase Requisitions (PR) in ERP system based on material planning requirements and approved forecasts.\nCoordinate with Procurement department for RFQs, vendor selection, and commercial alignment.\nTrack Purchase Orders (PO) status and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of critical EOIR components and spares.\nMonitor supplier lead times and escalate delays impacting production or MRO schedules.\nEnsure proper documentation and compliance for controlled, ITAR-sensitive, or classified components.\nERP & System Management\nUpdate and maintain material master data, BOM structures, inventory parameters, and supplier information in ERP system.\nMonitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliation activities.\nEnsure system data integrity for traceability and audit readiness.\nMRO & Production Support Coordination\nLiaise with MRO team to understand repair pipeline, part replacement trends, and failure analysis outcomes.\nEnsure critical spares availability to minimize turnaround time (TAT) and avoid operational delays.\nSupport warranty tracking and segregation of repair-related materials.\nReporting & Analysis\nGenerate inventory status reports, PR/PO tracking reports, material availability dashboards, and risk assessments.\nProvide regular updates to management on material shortages, supplier risks, and mitigation plans.\nSupport budgeting and cost-control initiatives related to inventory and procurement.\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure inventory and procurement activities comply with defense regulations, traceability requirements, and quality standards.\nMaintain proper documentation and audit trails for controlled and classified materials.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.\nHands-on experience in raising PRs and tracking POs through ERP systems.\nStrong Excel, analytical, planning, and reporting skills.\nKnowledge of compliance, traceability, and controlled material handling.\nAbility to coordinate across Production, MRO, Procurement, and Finance departments\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum 4-6 years of experience in inventory planning and procurement coordination within production or MRO environment (Defense/Aerospace preferred).\nStrong understanding of EOIR components, electronics, and mechanical assemblies is preferred.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
