You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design and architecture of secure IP-based network infrastructures for security and surveillance solutions.\nDevelop networking solutions that meet operational, cybersecurity, scalability, performance, and availability requirements.\nEnsure seamless integration and connectivity between sensors, radars, cameras, video management systems (VMS), command centers, access control systems, RF systems, and C4ISR platforms.\nConduct network integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and acceptance activities.\nPrepare network design documentation, implementation plans, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables.\nCollaborate with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity standards, security policies, and industry best practices.\nPerform root cause analysis and provide technical leadership for issue resolution and system optimization.\nSupport project planning, technical reviews, risk management activities, and customer engagements.\nProvide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.\n8+ years of experience in network engineering, design, implementation, and support.\nStrong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and network security principles.\nExperience with enterprise-grade networking technologies and infrastructure.\nProven experience delivering networking solutions for large-scale infrastructure, security, surveillance, defense, or critical infrastructure projects.\nExperience integrating networks within command-and-control, surveillance, or security environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, network performance monitoring, and optimization skills.\nExperience working in complex, multi-vendor integration environments.\nProfessional fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting C4ISR, technical security systems, wide-area surveillance, command centers, and mission-critical operational environments.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, secure network architectures, and defense-in-depth principles.\nExperience with high-availability and resilient network designs.\nFamiliarity with RF systems, access control platforms, video management systems, and sensor integration.\nPrevious experience leading engineering teams and providing technical mentorship.\nIndustry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, CISSP, or equivalent.\nExperience working in defense, homeland security, government, or critical national infrastructure environments.\nNative or near-native Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.\nWhy Choose EDGE?\nWorking at EDGE comes with a package that genuinely reflects how much we value our people.
