Support the Quality Management System (QMS) by monitoring compliance, identifying defects, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective actions. Act as a key contributor in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production, operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent quality performance.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n- Inspection & Testing\nConduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to approved specifications and procedures.\nPerform product testing and measurements using appropriate inspection equipment and tools.\nVerify compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and technical specifications.\nRecord inspection and test results accurately and timely.\n- Quality Monitoring & Control\nMonitor production and operational processes for quality compliance.\nIdentify defects, non-conformities, and process deviations.\nSupport implementation of quality control plans and inspection schedules.\nEscalate quality concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.\n- Non-Conformance Management\nIdentify and document quality issues and non-conforming products.\nAssist in containment activities to prevent defective products from reaching customers.\nSupport investigations into quality failures and recurring issues.\nParticipate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.\n- Documentation & Record Management\nMaintain accurate inspection, testing, and quality records.\nComplete quality reports, checklists, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.\nSupport document control activities related to quality processes.\nEnsure traceability and retention of quality records.\n- Audits & Compliance Support\nAssist with internal, external, and customer audits.\nVerify compliance with quality procedures and work instructions.\nSupport resolution of audit findings and follow-up actions.\nPromote adherence to quality and safety standards.\n- Quality Improvement Activities\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing defects and process variation.\nProvide feedback on recurring quality issues and improvement opportunities.\nSupport root cause analysis investigations.\nContribute to quality awareness and improvement initiatives.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nDiploma or Associate Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.\nBachelor's Degree is advantageous but not mandatory.\nQuality-related certifications are desirable:\n- Certified Quality Technician (CQT)\n- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor\n- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt\n- Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).\n- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measurement techniques.\n- Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting tools.\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or service environments.\n- Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified organization.\n- Exposure to root cause analysis and corrective action processes.\n- Experience with supplier inspections and audit support activities.\n- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
