You will work on challenging applications across computer vision, video analytics, sensor fusion, navigation and autonomous systems, with the opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace and defence programmes.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, develop and integrate AI/ML and Computer Vision solutions for real-time and edge platforms.\nDevelop algorithms for object detection, tracking, recognition and classification.\nWork on video analytics, sensor fusion, navigation and autonomous systems.\nDevelop production-quality software using C++ and Python.\nDeploy and optimize AI models on GPU and edge computing platforms.\nIntegrate AI solutions with embedded systems, sensors and hardware/software interfaces.\nPerform software design, development, integration, testing, verification and debugging.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AI, software, embedded, systems, hardware and testing.\nContribute to system architecture, technical decisions and major programme milestones.\nWork in accordance with established V-model, quality and safety-critical development processes.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering or a related field.\n8-10+ years of relevant hands-on engineering experience.\nStrong programming skills in C++ and Python.\nStrong experience in AI/ML and Computer Vision.\nExperience with deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.\nHands-on experience with embedded and/or real-time systems.\nStrong Linux, Git and Docker experience.\nExperience taking AI/ML solutions from development through integration and production deployment.\nStrong software development, debugging and system integration experience.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with NVIDIA Jetson and GPU optimization.\nExperience with ROS2.\nStrong knowledge of sensor fusion, autonomous navigation/guidance or reinforcement learning.\nExperience in aerospace, defence, UAV/UGV, robotics or autonomous systems.\nReal-time Linux and embedded AI experience.\nKnowledge of DO-178B, ARP4754 or other safety-critical development standards.\nExperience with communication protocols and hardware/software interfaces.\nStrong system design, software architecture and technical leadership experience.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
