The role will also support software qualification/certification activities and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and manage software verification plans, test procedures, test reports, and requirements traceability across product variants.\nPlan, coordinate, and lead embedded software testing and DT&E activities, including test benches, simulators, resources, and test teams.\nDrive the investigation and resolution of test failures, deviations, and verification issues, ensuring requirements are successfully verified.\nPrepare and maintain Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), VCRMs, and technical documentation, while mentoring junior verification engineers.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in software DT&E.\nStrong experience in embedded software verification, including black-box/white-box testing, requirements management, traceability, and software system/subsystem DT&E.\nProficiency in C and Python, with experience using GIT or SVN and requirements management tools such as Jama.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with DO-178C software certification, preferably Level A, particularly within the military or aviation domain.\nAdvanced experience with automated verification tools and hardware debugging/test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers; ISTQB certification is an advantage.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
