The role involves end-to-end hardware design, verification, qualification, technical leadership, design reviews, and mentoring engineering teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLead the design, development, integration, and verification of high-speed digital hardware systems and subsystems.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance on hardware architecture, signal integrity, PCB layout, qualification testing, and engineering best practices.\nPlan and lead technical design reviews, ensuring compliance with development specifications, interface control documents, and customer requirements.\nMentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of hardware development processes, standards, and engineering excellence.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in hardware and/or firmware engineering with a strong focus on digital hardware design.\nProven experience in high-speed digital hardware development, verification, qualification testing, and system integration.\nStrong understanding of systems engineering processes, industry standards, and hardware development lifecycles.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in high-speed PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and EMI/EMC compliance practices.\nExperience in defence, aerospace, guided munitions, or other safety-critical engineering environments.\nWHY CHOOSE EDGE\nLaunched in November 2019, the UAE's EDGE is one of the world's leading advanced technology groups, established to develop agile, bold and disruptive solutions for defence and beyond, and to be a catalyst for change and transformation.
