Working closely with Production, Procurement, and Engineering teams, you will oversee inspection processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.\nResponsibilities\nLead material inspection, testing, and quality control activities for incoming, in-process, and finished products.\nReview and approve inspection records, test reports, and ERP quality transactions.\nOversee calibration and traceability of measuring and testing equipment.\nInvestigate non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nLead and develop quality inspection teams while ensuring compliance with IMS, QMS, and HSE requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.\nExperience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), inspection methods, and ERP systems.\nExperience leading quality inspection activities and teams.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the defense, ammunition, or explosives industry.\nInternal Auditor (IMS) certification.\nKnowledge of calibration systems, statistical analysis, and manufacturing quality processes.\nWhy Choose EDGE?\nWorking at EDGE comes with a package that genuinely reflects how much we value our people.
