Headquartered in the UAE, we are committed to advancing the region’s technological edge in defense innovation.\nThe Test Equipment Systems/Development Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, validation, and lifecycle support of test equipment used to verify the performance, functionality, and compliance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and subsystems. This role is critical to ensuring repeatable, safe, efficient, and certifiable testing across avionics, electrical, mechanical, propulsion, communications, and software domains.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n1.Test Equipment Design and Development\nDesign and develop custom and commercial test equipment, including hardware and software, for system and subsystem verification.\nDefine technical and functional requirements for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, simulation rigs, and integration benches.\nSpecify and develop test interface hardware, signal conditioning circuits, wiring harnesses, and instrumentation for laboratory and field environments.\nDevelop test solutions suitable for safety-critical and mission-critical systems in compliance with aerospace and defense standards.\n2. System Integration and Test Automation\nDevelop and maintain automated test software and scripts using tools such as Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, and C/C++.\nIntegrate test equipment with telemetry systems, data acquisition platforms, and real-time or non-real-time simulation environments.\nEnsure interoperability with aerospace communication protocols including:\nRS-422 / RS485\nMIL-STD-1553 / 1760\nARINC 429\nCAN Bus\nEthernet-based systems\nSupport HIL testing and closed-loop verification activities.\n3. Verification, Validation, and Maintenance\nPlan and support verification and validation (V&V) of test equipment to ensure accuracy, repeatability, reliability, and compliance.\nDevelop and maintain:\nCalibration plans\nPreventive maintenance procedures\nFailure investigation and root cause analysis reports.\nManage configuration control, versioning, and change management of test hardware and software.\n4.
