The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple versions of Azure Stack HCI and Azure Local, strong expertise in Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), and a proven ability to maintain high availability and scalability in enterprise environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Work with various versions of Azure Stack HCI (23H2, 24H2/Azure Local).\n\n- Manage deployments, upgrades, and daily operations in hybrid cloud environments.\n\n- Evaluate and explain differences between Azure Stack HCI 23H2 and 24H2 in architecture, deployment, and management.\n\n- Provide recommendations for migration and adoption strategies.\n\n- Configure and manage S2D within Azure Stack HCI clusters.\n\n- Optimize storage pools and ensure high performance and resiliency.\n\n- Define hardware, network, and software requirements for successful deployment.\n\n- Collaborate with vendors to validate compatibility and performance.\n\n- Implement step-by-step configuration of S2D clusters.\n\n- Ensure proper fault tolerance and redundancy.\n\n- Create, expand, and manage volumes from S2D storage pools.\n\n- Monitor performance and capacity utilization.\n\n- Develop patching approaches to minimize downtime using Cluster-Aware Updating (CAU).\n\n- Scale clusters up to supported node limits and optimize resource allocation.\n\n- Manage Control Plane VM in Azure Stack HCI 23H2 and ensure orchestration of cluster services.\n\n- Maintain critical services such as Hyper-V, SDN, S2D, and Azure Arc integration.\n\n- Ensure seamless connectivity with Azure Public Cloud.\n\n- Use Azure Monitor, Windows Admin Center, and third-party tools for proactive monitoring.\n\n- Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and troubleshooting of cluster-level issues.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications :\n\n- Strong experience with Azure Stack HCI (23H2, 24H2/Azure Local).\n\n- Expertise in Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) configuration and management.\n\n- Knowledge of Cluster-Aware Updating (CAU) and patching strategies.\n\n- Familiarity with Azure Arc, Windows Admin Center, and Azure Monitor.\n\n- Hands-on experience with networking, virtualization (Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud integration.\n\n- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues using logs and diagnostic tools.\n\n- Excellent communication and documentation skills.\n\nPreferred Experience :\n\n- Prior work in enterprise-scale hybrid cloud deployments.\n\n- Experience with cluster scalability planning and performance optimization.\n\n- Familiarity with control plane VM orchestration in Azure Stack
