Our current responsibility includes support for real-time national security missions.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. \nDevelop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. \nWrite, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing. \nAnalyze test cases and provide regular progress reports. \nServe as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications. \nDirect and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.\nQualifications\nBS/BA in a relevant Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance on Start or DOD Top Secret with Reciprocity, and ability to obtain a SCI clearance\nMust be United States Citizen\nOn-site full time \nRequired Skills:\nExperience with design, development, and execution of software testing.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication interpersonal skills.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.\nExperience with programming in Python.\nDesired Skills:\nKnowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and UNIX command languages\nCloud technologies\nContinuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline\nContainerization (Docker preferred)\nLarge-scale (1M+ lines of code) systems\nExperience working with large, established codebases\nExperience with Agile software development practices\nAbout Us:\nEdgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
