All baseline images must meet DISA STIG and internal FBI Security recommendations. Incremental baseline releases are due Quarterly, NLT the 15th of each month (January, April, July, and October).\n\nProvide engineering, deployment, and transition to O&M services for a broad range of current and future Microsoft applications and technologies, or other third- party tools that integrate with Microsoft products. Currently utilized technologies include but are not limited to: Microsoft End Point Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft System Center Software Portal (MSCSP), and Microsoft Office products.\n\nCreate automation scripts and deploy orchestration and automation processes and products to support the FBI’s VDI, workstation and Controlled Interface environments which are expected to provide reduced spin up / spin down times, standardized deployments, business process automation, self-service portals, user and customer experience enhancements, automated patching, and maintenance.\n\nProactively address performance and anticipated user requirements.\n\nSupport both a Windows and Linux mixed environment.\n\nResponsible for the engineering, deployment and O&M of hyper converged server and storage solutions for use in the FBI’s VDI environments. Current implemented hyper converged technologies include but are not limited to Nutanix, Dell, and VMware.\n\nQualifications\n6 years of relevant experience designing and implementing virtual platforms for desktop, applications, and server virtualization solutions is required.\n\nU.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance\nHands on experience in implementing and supporting Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware vSphere, Hypervisor Management, Active Directory, GPO Management, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Deployments.\nThe Candidate shall have expert experience in implementing and supporting Citrix Xen Desktop, Application Virtualization, Load Balancers, VMware vSphere, Hypervisor Design, Hyper Converged Deployments, VSAN Administration, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, GPO Management, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Deployments of 50000+ Desktops, and VMware VDI environments.\nDesired:\nCitrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), VMware Certified Professional 6 - Desktop and Mobility (VCP6-DTM), and/or Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP).\nBachelor’s degree\nActive TS clearance\nAbout Us:\nEdgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
