If you’re looking to do work that matters, we’d love to hear from you.\nAbout the Position:\nScientific position with a range of duties including performing high-quality muscle experiments, producing consistent and reliable data; and reporting results in a timely and organized manner.\nEssential Job Duties and Functions:\nPerform experiments to investigate a specific question or problem in collaboration with supervisor and/or project team members.\nConduct detailed wet laboratory experiments with appropriate technique and adequate controls satisfactory to substantiate/replicate results.\nCoordinate laboratory work with objectives of project team\nInterpret basic experimental results and draw conclusions to be used by project team.\nReport organized data, making comparisons, and identifying trends.\nMake suggestions to improve laboratory efficiency.\nOperate at a high level of competence in laboratory technology related to the assigned project.\nDemonstrate basic command of scientific techniques and tools used in the respective area of science/research.\nParticipate in project team meetings.\nMaintain scientific records using electronic lab notebooks (ELN) in clear required form.\nUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining professional networks; and participating in professional organizations.\nRead, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies; safe work practices; and company policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\nRequired Education, Experience and Skills:\nB.S. in a scientifically related field\n2+ years of research laboratory experience\nFamiliarity with safe and efficient laboratory practices\nGeneral scientific computer and software application proficiency\nSalary range: $60,000-$85,000, title and salary commensurate with experience\nOur Benefits: We are proud to offer health benefits, a discretionary bonus plan, stock option grants. a stock purchase plan, a 401(k) with match and paid time off to our team members as part of their compensation plan. \nThere is no deadline because the employer accepts applications on an ongoing basis.\nEdgewise does not accept resumes from recruitment agencies for this position.
