In this role, you'll work alongside experienced data scientists and engineers to deliver actionable insights and build data-driven solutions across EDITED. You'll learn key methodologies, contribute to impactful projects, and develop your technical and analytical skills in a supportive environment.\nWhat You'll Do As A Junior Data Scientist:\nDeliver Data Science Projects: Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data science models and pipelines to solve core business problems.\n\nData Analysis & Exploration: Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, trends, and patterns supporting retail intelligence.\n\nCollaborate & Learn: Work closely with senior team members, receiving mentorship and feedback to continuously refine your technical skills.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate data products into production systems.\n\nMaintain Data Quality: Validate and clean data sources to ensure high reliability and consistency across models and reporting.\n\nCommunicate Findings: Present project outcomes and analytical findings clearly to team members and key stakeholders.\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\nA strong STEM degree (including Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, etc), or equivalent experience.\n\nSolid understanding of foundational data science concepts and statistical methods.\n\nProficiency with Python and standard data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn).\n\nStrong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCuriosity to learn in an ever changing, fast paced environment.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For In A Junior Data Scientist\nIt’s important for us to look for candidates that strive for excellence with a positive attitude, a strong sense of ownership and work ethic, and a passion to consistently develop and improve their knowledge and skillset.
