Main Responsibilities\nData Pipeline Engineering\nDesign, build, optimise, and maintain scalable data pipelines. \nDevelop reliable data-processing workflows for large data volumes. \nIntegrate data from multiple source systems. \nBuild reusable and maintainable data-processing components. \nMonitor and improve pipeline performance and reliability. \nMicrosoft Fabric Development\nDevelop solutions using Microsoft Fabric. \nWork with Fabric pipelines, dataflows, and notebooks. \nBuild and maintain modern analytics and data-processing workloads. \nSupport scalable ingestion, transformation, and processing patterns. \nOptimise Fabric-based data solutions for performance and maintainability. \nData Integration\nIntegrate relational databases, APIs, files, applications, and other data sources. \nDesign robust ingestion and transformation processes. \nDevelop reusable data-integration patterns. \nValidate and monitor source-to-target data flows. \nEnsure reliable and consistent data delivery. \nLakehouse & Data Warehouse Architecture\nDesign and maintain cloud-based lakehouse and warehouse solutions. \nImplement medallion architecture using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. \nSupport modern Azure-based data architectures. \nContribute to domain-oriented and data-mesh concepts where applicable. \nEnsure scalability, maintainability, and reuse across data products. \nData Modelling\nTranslate reporting and analytics needs into data models. \nDevelop reliable and reusable analytical datasets. \nApply dimensional-modelling principles. \nWork with Kimball-based modelling concepts. \nOptimise data structures for reporting and business intelligence. \nPython & SQL Engineering\nDevelop data-processing logic using Python. \nUse Python for ETL and data-engineering workloads. \nDevelop and optimise SQL queries. \nImprove query performance. \nSupport database-related analysis and troubleshooting. \nReporting & Analytics Support\nSupport Power BI and analytics environments. \nPrepare trusted datasets for reporting. \nWork with reporting specialists to understand analytical requirements. \nImprove the reliability and consistency of reporting data. \nSupport self-service and enterprise analytics needs. \nData Governance & Quality\nContribute to data-governance standards. \nImplement data-quality controls. \nSupport metadata and lineage practices. \nIdentify and resolve data-quality issues. \nPromote consistent data-management practices across the platform. \nCI/CD & DataOps\nSupport CI/CD for data solutions. \nUse version control for data engineering artefacts. \nAutomate deployments across environments. \nImprove release and deployment processes. \nApply modern DataOps and engineering practices. \nDocumentation & Collaboration\nDocument pipelines, dataflows, data models, and a\n\nC.
