knowledge of day-to-day market developments and accurately assesses the opportunities provided\n\nIdentify and research potential clients and evaluate business opportunities consistent with the growth strategy of the Company\n\nDevelop and execute targeted outreach strategies to generate leads\n\nPrepare and present business proposals to potential clients\n\nProject Management & Collaboration\nEffectively manage new projects, acquisitions or joint ventures from project inception through to contract execution / final investment decision\n\nProject manage the response to Expressions of Interest and Request for Quotations/ Tenders\n\nLead or support M&A project management processes including due diligence, valuations, scoping, closing and integration\n\nCo-ordinate inter-disciplinary input from internal teams and third parties to align efforts and drive business growth\n\nShare insights and feedback from clients to inform product development and service improvements.\n\nOpportunity Conversion\nUndertake economic and financial investigations to support investment cases\n\nPrepare and present investment cases that align to investment criteria to Executives\n\nNegotiate and conclude organic projects with clients and partners\n\nPerson Specification\nMust have initiative, and the ability to understand and manage risk in order to achieve success\n\nAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines\n\nProven ability to build and maintain business relationships at a senior level\n\nAbility to proactively manage multiple resources to complete a commercial project (commercial, legal, technical, financial, HSE)\n\nEffective and co-operative team worker with a sense of humour\n\nAbility to develop innovative, competitive solutions to convert opportunities\n\nEffective verbal and written communication with a healthy combination of creativeness and practicality\n\nAbility to function within, and in support of, the and team development skills\n\nQualifications & Experience\nRelevant qualifications in either a business, technical or scientific discipline with a strongly developed marketing sense gained through relevant work experience in either infrastructure, energy or carbon markets\n\nA depth of experience in the following areas is essential:\nConfidence to establish credibility and work with Executive Management \nSignificant financial modelling and valuation experience and skills \nMarket assessment, risk analysis and strategic planning\nComplex contract negotiation, administration and management\nExperience of dealing with legal agreements and liaising with legal advisors\nRelationship Management skills\nProven Commercial and Business Development track record\nDemonstrated experience with the Microsoft suite of
