We will help you grow so that we can continue growing\nTHE ROLE\nWe are currently searching for a Warehouse Associate to work in our Laval office! Under the supervision of our Warehouse Supervisor.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nOrder picking, packing and stock replenishment\nCheck and receive or ship inbound/outbound orders accurately\nProcess packing slips and required documents\nProcess courier freight bill of ladings and required shipping documents\nMaintain good housekeeping practices at all times\nAdhere to all safety policies and procedures\nOperate and maintain the vertical storage system for parts, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval processes.\nCoordinate with warehouse team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for order picking. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counting and stock replenishment. \nMaintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including the area dedicated to the vertical storage system.\nAssist in picking, packaging, labeling, preparing for shipment as needed.\nCollaborate with colleagues to streamline warehouse operations and enhance overall efficiency.\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEssential:\nHigh School Diploma/ GED\nDegree or Diploma in Supply Chain management (or related field) OR 2 years warehouse/ distribution experience\n\"Forklift experience (Reach or Counterbalance) and certificate required \nStrong reading & writing skills - must be able to read pick ticket/ packing slips and process in a timely manner\nAbility to read, understand, and prepare all shipping documents including waybills, B.O.L, and shipping labels\nExperience with courier companies (Purolator, DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.)\nBasic mathematical skills\nProven skills in accuracy and attention to detail - extremely important\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment\nAbility to communicate effectively\nSolid computer skills\nComplete daily assignments, meet deadline with accuracy, and demonstrate a sense of urgency\nRF scanner experience \nExperience using a VLM (vertical lift machine)\n Forklift experience (Reach or Counterbalance) and certificate\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork scheduled shift, Monday to Friday\nFast-paced environment in a dynamic competitive industry\nAbility to lift 50lbs on a regular basis \nBenefits\nCanadian founded and owned, John Brooks Company has doubled in size in the last 7 years to over 200 employees across the country.
