This role is the front line for internal staff and MSP customer support, hardware provisioning, and account setup.\nThis role reports to the Director of IT and receives day-to-day technical direction from the IT Engineering Team Lead.\n Role and Responsibilities with Essential Functions \n• Performs helpdesk support for EGT staff and our contracted MSP clients \n• Handles hardware acquisition, provisioning, deprovisioning, and disposal for employee PCs and Macs, monitors, docks and peripherals, desk phones, and mobile devices \n• Performs account setup and access provisioning and deprovisioning in line with standards set by the Identity & Endpoint Engineer \n• Conducts employee IT orientations for new hires \n• Handles file server backup and restore requests, including single-file restores and directory object lookups \n• Sets up new PCs for company staff and MSP clients, including configuration of needed software and drivers \n• Monitors critical systems (e.g. VM hosts, Datto, AWS, N-Able) to proactively troubleshoot any issues \n• Maintains and monitors all devices for both EGT and MSP clients \n• As needed, conducts on-site support for MSP clients for both network and computer issues \n • Assists with configuration and setup of networks for contracted clients \n• Maintains and repairs network related equipment and peripheral devices \n • Performs regular upgrades to ensure systems remain current and patched \n• Coordinates secure equipment disposal and maintains associated records \n Supports collaboration and productivity platforms under the direction of the Systems Administrator \n Troubleshoots system failures and provides solutions to restore functionality \nRequirements\nA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or relevant experience) \nAbility to think logically with strong problem-solving skills \nStrong customer service focus & superior phone etiquette \nExcellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to customers \nAbility to manage several competing priorities \nQuality focused \nDatabase experience (mySql, MS SQL Server) a plus \n CompTIA A+ or comparable certification preferred \nSalary Description\n$50,000 -
