As a Data Analyst in the Checkout team, you will be in charge of:\n\nBuild the infrastructure required for the extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. \n\nAssemble large and complex datasets, with an optimal data pipeline architecture, meeting business requirements. \n\nImplement processes to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.\n\nCreate alerts and dashboards to contribute to the monitoring and tracking of our business KPIs. \n\nIdentify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising queries, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.\n\nCollaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed existing reports or create brand new reports with the aim to increase data accessibility and foster data-driven decision making across the organisation.\n\nContribute to the delivery of strategic projects by participating in the delivery of key initiatives, giving support to the analytics and business teams when it comes to data availability and visualisation to ensure progress and effective delivery of the desired outcomes. Work together with stakeholders in the execution of the projects.\n\nWhat you need to succeed: \n\nGood to have\n\nBring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions. Here’s what you need to succeed: \n\nBachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.).\n\nExperience building and optimising data pipelines, data sets and workflow management tools (e.g. Dataform).\n\nAdvance knowledge of SQL is a requirement as well as experience working with databases and large sets of data; Python programming skills are also required as well as experience in data visualisation or exploration tools such as Looker Studio.\n\nAn AI-first mindset - proactively exploring how AI tools can improve efficiency and quality of work.\n\nAdvanced Office skills.
