Provide support and assistance in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement.\nResponsibilities:\n Provide individualized case management and career counseling to participants in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement \nComplete necessary WIOA data entry requirements in CWDS \nCoordinate with program leadership to prepare performance reports, suggest program innovations and improvements, and celebrate participant successes \nMaintain participant files in accordance with state and local regulation \nDevelop and update a customized service plan to align with participant employment and training goals \nFollow-up with partner agencies to ensure successful engagement in prescribed support services \nCounsel, motivate and encourage assigned caseload of participants to develop and guide through a customized career pathway and training opportunities \nMaintain organized tracking by documenting all participant interactions, contacts, activities, case notes, and files \nProvide the support that participants need to overcome barriers and reach their employment/educational goals \nMonitor participant progress via outreach, at least monthly, to ensure successful employment and training outcomes \nOffer follow-up support services to help participants retain employment or educational goals to ensure that performance measures are met \nAssist in the outreach and recruitment of new participants \nExplain the program’s eligibility requirements to perspective participants \nDetermine program eligibility and ascertain required documentation \nComplete intake assessments with all eligible participants to determine fit for the program. This includes assessing their motivation, commitment, and their basic skill levels. \nEnsure the required enrollment paperwork and documentation is completed and located in the participant files \nDocument services provided in digital management system \nDocument basic skills and career assessment information in participant files \nMaintain data on employment, education, retention and other performance measure requirements \nAttend all staff meetings in order to contribute to program issues and update on agency issues \nAttend scheduled in-service training in order to develop professional skills \nOther opportunities as available \nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nAbility to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts \nDemonstrated telephone, computer and written communication skills \nAbility to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require \nBachelor’s degree in human services, business, education, training or related area is preferred \nPrevious customer service experience required \nWorking knowledge of MS Windows, Word and Excel\nEDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
