Job Description: Title: Workforce Counselor Salary: $45,000 Classification: Non-Exempt Scope of Position: Assess jobseekers and determine the most appropriate path to return to work. Provide support and assistance in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement. Responsibilities: Provide individualized case management and career counseling to participants in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement Complete necessary WIOA data entry requirements in CWDS Coordinate with program leadership to prepare performance reports, suggest program innovations and improvements, and celebrate participant successes Maintain participant files in accordance with state and local regulation Develop and update a customized service plan to align with participant employment and training goals Follow-up with partner agencies to ensure successful engagement in prescribed support services Counsel, motivate and encourage assigned caseload of participants to develop and guide through a customized career pathway and training opportunities Maintain organized tracking by documenting all participant interactions, contacts, activitie
