You will own end-to-end resolution of device and network issues: IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, face and fingerprint terminals, access controllers, and the cloud and local platforms they report to (Hik-Connect, Hik-Partner Pro, HikCentral, ZKTeco, eSSL, Matrix and similar).\n\nJob title: Security Systems Integration & Network Support Engineer\nDepartment: IT / Security Systems\nLocation: Lucknow – on-site with field visits\nEmployment type: Full-time\nExperience: 0–2 years\nReports to: Facilities Head\nKey responsibilitiesDevice integration\nInstall, configure and commission IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, face and fingerprint terminals, card readers and access controllers.\nIntegrate devices from multiple vendors (Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, ZKTeco, eSSL, Matrix, Honeywell and others) into a common VMS, access control or attendance platform.\nLink biometric terminals to HRMS / payroll and attendance software via SDK, API, ISAPI, ONVIF or database sync.\nOnboard devices to cloud platforms (Hik-Connect, Hik-Partner Pro, HikCentral, vendor P2P clouds) and keep them registered.\nConfigure door access rules, schedules, user and face/fingerprint enrolment, and alarm I/O.\nNetwork and connectivity resolution\nDiagnose and fix offline devices: Wi-Fi and wired issues, DHCP/static IP conflicts, DNS, gateway, routing priority between LAN and Wi-Fi.\nConfigure switches, PoE budgets, VLANs, routers, port forwarding and firewall rules for security devices.\nTroubleshoot cloud registration failures, P2P/relay issues, NAT and ISP-side blocking.\nUse tools such as ping, traceroute, Wireshark, SADP and vendor config tools to isolate faults.\nSupport and maintenance\nAct as L2 escalation for device and connectivity tickets; resolve within agreed SLAs.\nRun preventive maintenance: firmware updates, health checks, storage/HDD checks, backup of configs.\nKeep an up-to-date asset register: device model, serial, IP, location, firmware, credentials (stored securely).\nDocument root causes and fixes; build a troubleshooting knowledge base for recurring issues.\nCoordinate with vendors, OEM support and ISPs for RMA and escalations.\nTrain site staff on basic checks and first-line troubleshooting.\nRequired skills and qualificationsDiploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science or a related field.\n2–5 years hands-on experience with CCTV and biometric / access control systems.\nWorking knowledge of at least two major vendors devices and their configuration tools (e.g. Hikvision SADP / iVMS / Hik-Connect, Dahua ConfigTool / DMSS, ZKTeco ZKBio, eSSL eTimeTrackLite).\nSolid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, PoE, Wi-Fi.\nFamiliarity with ONVIF, RTSP, ISAPI and basic API / SDK integration concepts.\nMethodical troubleshooting approach;
