Your purpose-driven work will help leave lasting and positive impacts on patient lives.\nThe Associate Machine Operator (Metals) performs work to support manufacturing/production activities, following established procedures and guidance. Set-up and run a variety of types of machinery in the manufacturing process, in keeping with SOPs and established production schedule; and provide training and guidance to co-workers.\nWorking Hours : 4 day week (Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm-3am, Thursday 4:30pm-2am)\nHow you'll make an impact:\nSet up equipment, load materials, and run manufacturing processes to make device components and/or sterilize finished Metals products.\nFollow work instructions and SOPs. Record required, traceable information on device history records and/or enter data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including equipment uptime and reasons for downtime.\nCheck that equipment is ready before starting, and make in-process adjustments within approved settings and process parameters to meet quality requirements.\nInspect equipment and Metals product during production to make sure the process stays in control and parts meet specifications.\nMake sure process parameters are captured (manually or automatically, as required) so they can be included in the device history record.\nPerform basic operator equipment care and maintenance per standards. Take action or escalate when equipment does not meet the standard.\nSelect and use the correct tools, fixtures, and equipment for the assigned operation.\nTroubleshoot equipment and process issues. Escalate problems to the Lead/Supervisor/Engineering as needed.\nHandle, mix, and use chemicals as required for the process (if applicable). Use required PPE and follow all chemical safety and handling procedures.\nOperate laser equipment (if assigned) and follow all laser safety rules.\nWhat you'll need (Required):\nH.S. Diploma or equivalent with some previous experience in using similar machinery Preferred\nWhat else we look for (Preferred):\nGood communication skills\nDue to the specific duties of this job, you must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English\nBasic computer skills, preferred\nAbility to use automated inspection and/or vision systems, inspection and measuring tools (for example: magnifier, microscope, or other measurement tools)\nBasic understanding of manufacturing procedures or another regulated environment (ISO 13485 and/or GMP)\nAchieve quality standards\nAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control\nTravel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary.
