looking for a Procurement Engineer responsible for overseeing the procurement or purchasing of technical goods and services to provide effective and efficient services to meet the needs of the company for its ongoing projects.\nJob Duties:\nPrepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions\n\nPrepare and issue purchase orders and agreements\n\nMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns\n\nInspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings\n\nReview project Specs and scope of work and locate potential vendors and subcontractors.\n\nConduct bidding meetings and price negotiation. \n\nEvaluate technical and financial proposals. \n\nEstablish and negotiate contract terms and payment conditions. \n\nPrepare procurement plans and periodic reports.\n\nEvaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate purchase agreements with them.\n\nProcures equipment, materials, and systems complying with the project quality and specification requirements.\n\nProcures materials and subcontracts promptly within the approved budget cost.\n\nEnsures on-time delivery of equipment and materials to the support site installation works as per the approved work program.\n\nEnsure compliance with management-approved procedures and policies concerning time, cost, and quality.\n\nPrepare documentation for internal processes as per ISO standards.\n\nExcess materials from sites shall be returned to central stores every month.\n\nDevelop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.\n\nMaintain company reputation and credibility through fair dealings and prompt payment.\n\nGenerate PO for services and materials.\n\nConduct vendor evaluation and registration.\n\nRequirements\nJob Requirements & Needed Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering\n\nExperience in the industrial background is a must, pressure vessels, oil, and gas are highly preferred.\n\n2-5 years of related experience.\n\nGood working knowledge of purchasing strategies\n\nTime management and organization skills.\n\nDetailed-oriented & ability to multitask.\n\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nFast worker with the ability to work well under stress.\n\nGood interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills\n\nJob
