Receivables Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Receivable Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of receivables, following up on outstanding balances, and supporting the company’s cash collection process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, issue, and record customer invoices accurately and on time.
Monitor customer accounts and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
Follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
Record and reconcile customer payments and receipts.
Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports.
Coordinate with the Sales and other relevant departments regarding customer balances, invoices, and payment issues.
Verify supporting documents related to sales invoices and customer transactions.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Prepare regular reports related to receivables and collections.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Perform any other accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role.
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or contracting companies is preferred.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable procedures.
Good command of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
