Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code will be an added advantage.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, customize, maintain, and support PHP-based web applications.\nDevelop and maintain WordPress websites, custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce functionality .\nDevelop and maintain applications using Laravel, Core PHP, MySQL, and MVC architecture .\nWrite clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable Object-Oriented PHP (OOP) code.\nWork with WordPress hooks, filters, REST APIs, AJAX, and custom functionality.\nDevelop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.\nIntegrate third-party services such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Google APIs, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal , and similar platforms.\nWork with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.\nDevelop custom eCommerce websites, CMS platforms, web portals, and business applications .\nUse Git/GitHub for source code management and version control.\nManage PHP dependencies using Composer.\nPerform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.\nIdentify and resolve application, database, API, and integration-related issues.\nOptimize applications for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.\nWork with Linux/Apache hosting environments and assist with deployment when required.\nFollow coding standards and software development best practices.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills\nStrong knowledge of PHP / Core PHP.\nStrong hands-on experience with WordPress development.\nExperience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes.\nGood experience with WooCommerce.\nStrong knowledge of Laravel and MVC architecture.\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).\nStrong knowledge of MySQL and database concepts.\nGood knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, and XML.\nExperience with REST API development and third-party API integration.\nExperience with Git/GitHub and Composer.\nGood understanding of web security, debugging, and performance optimization.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nThird-Party API & Integration Experience\nExperience with one or more of the following:\nShopify API\nHubSpot API\nStripe\nPayPal\nREST APIs\nWebhooks\nOAuth / API Authentication\nAdvanced / Additional Skills\nThe following skills arenot mandatory, but will be considered an advantage:\nWorking knowledge of Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding tools.\nExperience using AI coding assistants for code development, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.\nAbility to effectively use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining coding standards, security, code quality, and best practices.\nExperience with Drupal development and customization.\nExperience with Drupal modules, themes, and APIs.\nExperience with Linux and Apache.\nExperience with website/application deployment and hosting environments.\nKnowledge of Redis, caching, queues, and background jobs.\nExperience with Docker or cloud hosting environments.\nUnderstanding of software design patterns and scalable application
