If you tick all the above, this might be the job for you!\nElevate your career by taking on a pivotal role as Operations Manager at EF Singapore International Language School.\nWe’re looking for an approachable, highly organised and results-driven Operations Manager to support the growth and smooth running of our international language campus. Year-round, you’ll support general school operations and the student experience for our diverse international community of students aged 16+, while working closely with multiple global sales markets and towards ambitious targets.\nDuring our busy peak seasons, you’ll take a leading role in the planning and delivery of operations for groups ofstudents, primarily aged between 7 and 13 years old, ensuring their programmes run safely, smoothly and successfully from arrival through to departure.\nYour Role\nAs Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the year-round operation of EF Singapore, with particular ownership of the planning and delivery of our winter and summer peak-season groups. Student satisfaction will be at the heart of everything you do.\nYou’ll work closely with our international sales offices to fill groups, grow student numbers and increase overall student weeks, while ensuring that what we promise is delivered to a consistently high standard on the ground.\nYou will take ownership of the complete group student journey from arrival to departure, including:\nAccommodation and rooming plans\nAirport arrivals, departures and transport\nMeals and catering\nActivities, excursions and student schedules\nRecruitment, preparation and training of Group Leaders\nSafeguarding and operational requirements for U18 groups\nCommunication and coordination with sales offices, suppliers and internal teams\nMonitoring student feedback and satisfaction and taking action where improvements are needed\nEnsuring expectations are clearly communicated, understood and consistently met\nYear-round, you’ll also support the wider operations of our international language campus and our students aged 16+, working across departments to ensure the school runs smoothly, operational standards remain high and students receive an excellent experience throughout their time with us.\nThis is a hands-on role - you’ll be expected to plan, coordinate and lead, but also to step in and support operational delivery whenever needed.\nResponsibilities\nTake full ownership over the group bookings operations including, but not limited to \nOversee and manage day-to-day business regarding group bookings at pre-departure, in-school and post-departure\nOutsourcing and directly managing all service providers (meals, activities, accommodation, transport, cleaning) to ensure all required services are provided in accordance with EF and local standards and to ultimately ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction\nLiaising directly with the Capacity Management & Director of Studies to ensure maximum utilization of committed beds, classroom usage, timetables for classes and the teachers needed\nRecruiting, training and leading a group of Local Activity leaders, Tour Guides, summer Residence Advisors and summer interns to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction\nWorking as part of the wider school team to ensure overall student satisfaction and growth of the school\nEnsure the department complies with EF policy and accreditation requirements\nEnsure to reach evaluation targets for all services offered to group bookings\nShare emergency on call duties with other school staff\nDuring off-peak times to assist with school wide operations as needed.\nRequirements\nProven leadership skills\n\nExperience of sourcing and ensuring great quality student services such as accommodation, meals, transport, activities\nKnowledge and experience of working within the language education industry\nOutstanding communicator, both verbal and written (English)\nExperience in a sales environment and/or a proven track record of meeting targets\nExtremely organized, calm under pressure, and able to prioritize multiple tasks\nExperience working in a multicultural environment or living/working abroad\nConfident with IT and different systems\n\nA flexible approach to work and hours of work\n\nHighly organised with attention to details\n\nAbility to handle difficult situations with ease & remain calm & positive under pressure\n\nEnjoys working in busy & varied environment\n\nAll offers are subject to a clear background check & 2 references\n\nWhy you will love working with EF Singapore\n· Continuous professional development for all staff\n· CPD sessions on management skills for all EF managers\n· Ambition is nurtured and fast-tracked career enhancement opportunities are provided\n· Staff are encouraged to innovate, take ownership of their ideas, and bring them to fruition\n· Work in a truly international environment\n· Global career opportunities\n· Regular social events\nWhat do our staff say?\n“For me it’s the team!
